REDEEMER LUTHERAN CHURCH
WORD ALONE. FAITH ALONE. GRACE ALONE. CHRIST ALONE.
HELP US TO SPREAD OUR
LOVE AND FAITH
"And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these."
Worship Services at Redeemer Lutheran Church
Resuming Sunday February 21 at 10:00 a.m.
After the recent Provincial lockdown, Lambton Public Health have announced we will be transitioning from the current provincial shutdown and stay-at-home orders to the COVID-19 Response Framework on February 16, 2021. We will be moving to the Restrict (Orange) Level which reflects intermediate measures we will follow at Redeemer.
Once again, we will be re-opening our doors in caution to make sure every possible effort has been taken to reduce the potential transmission of the virus.
As we open our doors again to worship, here is a reminder of some of the controls we will continue to follow for everyone’s personal safety and peace of mind:
Our sanctuary will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before we resume worship services
Our common areas and washroom will be cleaned after each worship service
We will still refrain from singing hymns or responsives at this time
A Greeter will be stationed at the side door between 9:30 and 10:00 to admit parishioners
Greeters will register and pre-screen parishioners’ health conditions as they arrive, now including individual temperature scanning
Facemasks are still mandatory (in accordance to our Municipal Bylaw)
Hand sanitizing stations are available and parishioners will be expected to sanitize as they arrive
Ushers will wear gloves and masks as they hand out Service Bulletins
Ushers will continue escorting and seating parishioners to better control physical distancing
Collection plates will not be passed – they are at the sanctuary doors for you to place your tithe in as you exit.
Parishioners are reminded to please refrain from direct, personal contact with others, especially as they exit from service and leave the church
Finally, for those who do not feel comfortable attending church at this time we will begin offering a shorter ‘abridged’ service message on our website: https://www.redeemerlutheran-sarnia.ca/sermons.

Max Lucado writes: “God, motivated by love and directed by divinity, surprised everyone. He became a man. In an untouchable mystery, He disguised Himself as a carpenter (Jesus of Nazareth) and lived in a dusty Judean village. Determined to prove His love for His creation...
Please remember that your continued financial support is important so that we may keep our Church going during this pandemic. We realize that some of you may be facing financial hardship in the coming months, but if you can afford to continue giving, there’s a number of ways you can do so:
You can sign up for the automatic giving program - please contact the Church office for details
You can donate using Interac e-transfers.
You can drop off your offering envelopes at the church, through our secure mail slot.
You can mail your offerings to the church.
During this time of uncertainty, our greatest comfort is found in God’s Word. Even though we can’t ‘stay connected’ through our onsite Sunday Worship Services at Redeemer, we are working to find new ways so that we can draw closer to Him during these times. Please continue to support us with your time, talents and treasures as you are able.
